In November 2017, Ya Batho Trading (Pty) Ltd.’s range of wireless technologies for the mining industry was submitted for Electromagnetic Compatibility EMC Standard certification at iSert (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria. Ya Batho are proud to announce that all their wireless technologies operating in the 2.4 Ghz ISM band has passed the EMC Certification as per the Department of Mineral Resources’ requirements and standards.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is the branch of electrical engineering concerned with the unintentional generation, propagation and reception of electromagnetic energy which may cause unwanted effects such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) or even physical damage in operational equipment. The goal of EMC is the correct operation of different equipment in a common electromagnetic environment.
